WELCOME TO THE ISLE OF WIGHT ARTS DIRECTORY The Isle of Wight Council’s Arts Unit and Quay Arts have once again teamed up to bring you this comprehensive guide to artists, galleries and arts events on the Isle of Wight. This year the Open Studios will take place over the last two weekends in July. It is felt that this will enable more artists to visit each other’s studios for networking and support, and to enable visitors to take more time visiting your studios, focussing on a more manageable area during the weekends. To manage this change, we have divided the Open Studios into 2 main geographical areas, as follows:
South & West Wight - Fri 18th - Mon 21st July West starting at Porchfield, and South starting at Sandown and Apse Heath. North & East Wight - Fri 25th - Mon 28th July Boundaries to and including, Gurnard, Newchurch and Arreton. We hope you enjoy using the directory and exploring the wealth of creativity and artistic talent that is characteristic of the Isle of Wight.
Printed copies of the Arts Directory are available from Quay Arts, Tourist Information Centres, Deep Design and Libraries. |
